The mythical countryside, of brave cowboys, who stroll through the thorny vegetation of the caatinga in their leather clothes, in rough rides, taking the angry bulls without any equipment other than their hands and their courage. "The beauty here is as if we drank in cups, glasses, long, precious sips poured by God. It's thinking that there is a right to beauty, that giving beauty to those who thirst for beauty is a Christian duty", said the writer Guimarães Rosa, about the countryside, in his masterpiece "Great Countryside: Trails".
