The project Bed, Breakfast and Hammock, began as a necessity to enlargen the options of lodging in the Seridó region. In this project, we present a chain of lodging places, usually known as Bed and Breakfast, in which future visitors may choose to lodge in family houses, located in the towns involved.

The Bed, Breakfast and Hammock has the purpose of providing alternatives to the lodging options existent and to take the opportunity, through this type of lodging, to make a significant interaction between the tourist demand and the local population.

This inovative iniciative seeks to complement the existing lodging options in these locations, taking as basic premisse the known hospitality of the people from the Seridó and has the social function to insert the local population in the process of development of a sustainable tourist activity.
