Archeological Tour

This route will take you to a meeting with the past. Its the map that indicates the trails of an actual archeological treasure. The caatinga of the Seridó hides signs of ancient civilizations. The messages from the indians are everywhere. There are intriguing primitive paintings and fascinating itaquatiara inscriptions. To find them, you will have to follow the trail. Come greet History, try to unveil the mysteries.




- Leave Natal heading to the town of Jardim do Seridó;
- Check-in, lunch and leave for Acari;
- Visits to the Archeological Sites Poço do Arthur I e II;
- Return to Jardim do Seridó.



- Leave early in the morning for the town Cerro Corá;
- Visit to the community Serra Verda and Cidade das Pedras; with its various rocky formations and innumerous primitive paintings;
- Lunch at an agricultural property in Cerro Corá;
- At the end of the afternoon, visit to the Pedra do Letreiro no Totoró - Currais Novos;
- Sleep at Jardim do Seridó.



- In the morning, visit to primitive paintings of Mirador Farm, in Parelhas;
- Lunch in Parelhas and trip continues to Carnaúba dos Dantas;
- Visit to Archeological Site Xique-Xique I;
- Sleep at Jardim do Seridó.



- After breakfast, visit to primitive paintings at Talhado do Gavião;
- Lajedo Farm, in Carnaúba dos Dantas;
- Lunch in selected restaurant;
- In the afternoon, visit to the Fundões Canion;
- Sleep at Jardim do Seridó.



- After breakfast, leave to the city of Caicó;
- Stroll through the Serra da Formiga with visit to the Caridade Cave;
- Lunch and return to Natal.
